BE ACTIVE.
ENJOY YOURSELF.
FEEL GREAT AGAIN.
One-on-One Wellness training in Chattanooga
We help the injured, the aging, and those who are are not accustomed to a gym environment improve their quality of life through functional strength.
When I was undergoing cancer treatment, I felt awful, and it seemed like nothing would make that feeling go away.
I found exercising enabled me to get back to feeling better faster! I want others to feel better too.
As we age, or when we become injured, we lose our ability to perform basic functions with ease.
You are experiencing physical challenges and are afraid you will continue to decline.
You need someone to guide and coach you.
Traditional gyms are too intimidating, noisy, and make you dread working out.
“Russell and his team ignited my return to a healthier lifestyle. Offering a supportive and friendly environment I have seen real changes in my health over the last two years. I didn’t know if I could get it done, but Russell showed me.”
Jim O.
There are no mirrors, tight clothes, or pounding music here, because we cater to our clients needs, not to physical prowess.
“RC Wellness Center is a warm and welcoming place, no matter where you are in your fitness journey, and I look forward to spending time there! (Plus, there’s plenty of free parking!)”

We can help you identify your unique challenges and learn to exercise and move without hurting yourself.
We have created a warm environment in which people build positive relationships and experience success. We want to see you smile!
Gain confidence little by little doing what you can do. There is no pressure to push yourself beyond your comfort level.
“Russell and his team are so enthusiastic, encouraging, and energetic. They take time and listen to your exercise goals then customize the training to meet those goals. They have a holistic approach to exercise and life which I value.”
David D.
We customize an exercise program specifically for you, then we stay by your side and guide you until you experience success.
People don’t realize how bad their balance is until they have a fall.
A weak core and poor muscular endurance leads to fatigue, injury, poor posture, and back pain. A little strength training can go a long way.
Do more on a daily basis without injuring yourself or feeling pain.
Staying active was never so easy!

“I have been going to Russell and his staff for over two years and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone who is thinking about a personal trainer. They will fit your program to your specific needs, for me that meant a lot of balance drills. You will not regret giving them a try.”
Roger D.
I began my health career at Vanderbilt Hospital’s Kim Dayani cardiac rehab center. Seeing patients’ poor health saddened me, pushing me to work “upstream” to prevent such outcomes.
In 2002, I left to manage Spectrum, a fitness facility in Chattanooga. Two years later, I directed Step ONE at the Hamilton County Health Department, focusing on nutrition and exercise. In 2007, I joined the school system to lead Coordinated School Health, visiting all 80 Hamilton County schools to assess student and teacher wellness. I also taught as an adjunct at UTC and Chattanooga State. In 2013, I became State Director of Implementation in Schools for The Governor’s Foundation for Health and Wellness, promoting healthy policies statewide. After a 2019 administration change, I returned to Chattanooga, serving five years as Director of Health and Fitness at a Riverside Parkway medical facility.
On January 13, 2025, I opened RC Wellness Center, leveraging 30 years of experience to create tailored fitness plans for people with diseases, injuries, surgeries, or aging effects—emphasizing balance, core strength, range of motion, and cardiopulmonary efficiency. My gym fosters a social, welcoming vibe, with no mirrors, loud music, or heavy lifting. My core belief: Health is how you live, not how you look.
“I feel grateful to step into RC Wellness each week for personal training, where everyone’s kindness makes me feel at home. They introduced me to the gym lifestyle, and now I look forward to my weekly sessions, departing with renewed energy and a sense of determination to achieve my goals!”
